Small Caps

The following sections are small capped when referred to in the text: Methods (including Materials and Methods or Experimental Procedures), Results, and Discussion.

Certain chemical formulas (especially those referring to amino acids) contain small capped letters, such as poly-L-lysine, N-nitro-L-arginine, and D-glucose.

Certain special constructions also use small capped letters, for example, PCO2 and VO2.
