The Credits section is where practical concerns about the study itself are cited. These concerns are broken down into small subsections within the Credits section itself. This portion of the Style Manual will explain the various subsections (Notes Added in Proof, Acknowledgements, Grants, Disclaimers, and Disclosures) and how they are styled. Please note that it is not required for a manuscript to have all the subsections or even have a Recognition section at all. However, if there is no Credits section, feel free to insert a query asking the author if there is any information that they would like to provide.
Indicate the beginning of the Recognition section using the «credits» code in ABRA, followed by a hard return. At proof stage, the entire Recognition section should be in a slightly smaller font size.
