Formatting APS Journal Articles :: References :: Sample References
Everyone makes mistakes, and this is a way for publishers to correct them. These corrections are published in subsequent issues of the journal and are cited in a reference after the normal journal article citation. Note that in this case, the issue (in parentheses) or date of publication is included.
Example of a corrigendum in an APS journal:
«rf»10
«a»Weisiger RA, Pond S, and Bass L.
«t»Hepatic uptake of protein-bound ligands: extended sinusoidal perfusion model. Am J Physiol Gastrointest Liver Physiol 261: G872--G884, 1991. [Corrigenda. Am J Physiol Gastrointest Liver Physiol 266(3): 1, 1994.]
Example of an erratum in another journal:
«rf»5
«a»Cohen SS.
«t»The function of polyamines. Adv Polyamine Res 1: 1-10, 1978. [Erratum. Adv Polyamine Res 3 (Aug): 199, 1979.]
