Formatting APS Journal Articles :: References :: Sample References
Authors attend gatherings to share their findings, and these are detailed in various publications. These are some of the most complex references to format because they simply aren't encountered very often. Basically, follow your best judgment as to how to style the reference. Most of the time, you have a choice as to whether to style the reference like a journal article or a book; this really depends on what information the author provided. However, try to include any relevant information that would aid a reader in finding the source, such as the location, number, and date of the gathering. If this information is not there, then query the author.
