Citation Header

The citation header is placed in the upper outside corner of the title page of every article. It provides readers with the APS-preferred citation style and information.

The citation header is automatically generated by the compositer, per specs, missing only the page numbers, which must be filled in by the proofreader at first pages.

Using the Toolkit

If the article is of a type that does not have an abstract (such as a letter to the editor), then you must include the «citation» code at the beginning of the article, right after the journal code. No text is necessary after the code; it must simply be present in the manuscript.
