Placing the Button on Your Toolbar
- Select Tools > Customize.

- In the control panel that appears, click the Commands tab. You should
see a box labeled Categories on the left and a box labeled Commands
on the right.
- Scroll down in the left-hand box until you see the item Macros. Click
on it once to highlight it.
- Scroll down in the right-hand box until you see the item Normal.APSbutton.APStoolkit.
- What if there is no item called
Normal.APSbutton.APStoolkit in the right-hand box? This means
the button code is not installed. Click Close. Follow the
instructions for installing the
button code, then come back and follow these instructions again.

- Click on this item and drag it up to your menu bar. A black, vertical line will
appear beneath your cursor, showing you where the button will be inserted when
you let go of the mouse button. I usually put it in the upper menubar, just to
the right of the Help button.
- Let go of the mouse button. You should now have a big, unweildy button
labeled Normal.APSbutton.APStoolkit in your menubar.
- Right click on this button. Click on the field labeled Name,
delete the text in that field and type in "APS." Then press Enter.

- Back in the Customize control panel, click Close.
