Upgrading the Toolkit

Upgrading Your Toolkit
- First, make sure Microsoft Word is shut off.
- Right-click the link above and choose "Save Target As..." to download the file to your hard drive. I recommend saving it to your Desktop, so you can easily access it later.
- Once the file is downloaded, double-click to open it.
- First, you will see the following message:
- Click OK.
- Next, you will see a control panel with several buttons, like this:
- Make sure the "Unzip to folder" box reads C:\. If it does not, enter the correct information in the field. Make sure this directory information is correct, or the toolkit will not install properly.
- Click Unzip. After a second or two, you should see a box that says, "5 files unzipped successfullly."
- Once you see the confirmation box, Click OK.
If you have already installed APS button for a previous version of the toolkit, then stop here. You do not need to go any further. If this is the first time you've installed the toolkit on your computer, or if you need to re-install the toolkit button, move on to the next section on installing the button code.
